A Columbia man has been arrested for a series of armed robberies across Lancaster County.

Pequea Township police said Brian Conrad Jr. displayed a handgun when he demanded cash from the Turkey Hill store at 2101 New Danville Pike on December 28. He fled with a box of cigarettes and less than $100 in cash.

Court records indicate that Conrad faces additional robbery and theft charges in East Hempfield, East Lampeter, West Earl, and West Hempfield townships for crimes that occurred December 21-26.

West Earl police have reported that the Turkey Hill in Brownstown was robbed early Christmas morning by a man who displayed a gun in his waistband before taking cash and cigarettes.

East Hempfield police have been looking for a man who had a gun when he robbed the Speedway Express, at 1660 Rohrerstown Road, on the early morning of December 21.

Conrad was arrested Saturday and sent to Lancaster County Prison after failing to post $250,000 bail.
