A Lancaster man will serve up to 12 years in prison for firing a gun while he mugged a man in the city last year.
Elias R. Brown, 21, was ordered to serve 6-12 years at his sentencing Monday. He pleaded guilty in May to felony counts of robbery, aggravated assault, and a firearms offense.
The district attorney’s office said Brown and two juveniles robbed the victim of Timberland boots, cash, and a jean jacket. Brown fired five rounds from a .40-caliber pistol during the Sept. 14 incident in the 100 block of South Christian Street.
No one was injured.
