A Lancaster County man will serve up to 20 years in prison for raping and sexually abusing a girl, beginning when she was 7 years old.

Anthony Van Vooren, 27, of Willow Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to the abuse in 2016 and 2017 at locations in Lititz and Warwick Township, the district attorney’s office said.

The charges include rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, and indecent assault.

In exchange for the plea, VanVooren will serve 10 to 20 years in prison, followed by three years of probation. He must register his whereabouts with police, under Megan’s Law, for the rest of his life.

In court, prosecutors said VanVooren caused “irreparable harm” to the girl and her family.
