Man injured after shooting in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are investigating a shooting incident in the city that left a man injured late Monday.

Officers called the 700 block of South Lime Street around 11 p.m. found the shooter lying on the sidewalk. He placed his arms out to his sides and had a handgun on the ground and away from himself, police said.

A 22-year-old man inside the home had a gunshot wound to his upper arm. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and was in stable condition.

Police said it appears the men involved in the incident are known to each other and the shooting was not a random act. No charges have been filed.
