A Lancaster County man will serve one to two years in prison for sexually abusing four children.

John Lapp, 55, of Quarryville, also will serve 32 years of probation, and he must register his whereabouts with police, under Megan’s Law, for the rest of his life.

Lapp pleaded guilty in March to aggravated indecent assault and other crimes for years of abuse that began in 1995. The girls disclosed the abuse to authorities many years after it began.

The district attorney’s office said the four victims represented that they did not want Lapp to go to prison, and the judge considered that when he ordered the sentence.
