A Lancaster County man is accused of driving under the influence when he led police on a chase straight to his home.

Charles E. Reedy III, 32, of Stevens, is charged with fleeing and eluding and DUI regarding the incident late Monday.

East Cocalico Township police said Reedy was doing “doughnuts” on the grass of a business in the first block of East Church Street. When officers tried to pull him over, he took off and the resulting pursuit reached speeds of about 70 mph.

Reedy ultimately pulled into his driveway and was placed into custody. He was taken for a blood test which he refused, police said.

He was sent to Lancaster County Prison on $50,000 bail pending additional charges.
