A woman who worked as a contracted nurse at the Lancaster County Prison is charged with having methamphetamine and fentanyl in her vehicle while it was parked outside the prison.
Leann M. Barr, 32, of New Providence, is charged with two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver and two misdemeanor charges.
The district attorney’s office said the county’s drug task force searched Barr’s vehicle on Monday and found a half-ounce of meth, two capsules of fentanyl, and paraphernalia.
Investigators are still looking into whether Barr brought drugs inside the prison.
She has been terminated from working at the prison.
