Rohrerstown Elementary School was briefly evacuated Monday afternoon for a smell of natural gas.
Students and staff were removed from the building just after 3 p.m.
They were allowed to return for normal dismissal after the building was inspected and cleared by emergency officials, the Hempfield School District said.
Buses may be leaving the school later than normal, the district said.
Classes at the school were canceled last Tuesday after an electrical issue caused smoke in the building.
