A Maryland man already serving at least 20 years in prison for burglaries and armed robberies in his home state has been sentenced for numerous crimes in Lancaster County.

Christopher J. Lewis, 29, recently was sentenced to 23 to 46 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to more than a dozen overnight burglaries, an armed robbery, and related crimes in Fulton and Little Britain townships two years ago.

Lewis broke into 12 homes, including nine that were occupied, the district attorney’s office said. No occupants were confronted.

He also threatened a clerk with a gun when he robbed the Little Britain Store on North Little Britain Road on May 17, 2016.

He was sentenced last year in Maryland to 20 to 40 years for crimes in the Cecil County area. The sentences will run concurrently.
