Vases recovered after theft at cemetery

COLUMBIA, Pa. (WHTM) – Nearly two dozen bronze vases stolen from a Lancaster County cemetery have been recovered.

Columbia police said all the vases were found at a local scrap yard. The owner called authorities after seeing a news report on the stolen vases.

Someone stole about 20 vases worth around $6,000 from Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens over the Memorial Day weekend.

Some vases were taken from the graves of veterans.
