UPDATE: Vehicle crash that caused house fire in Lancaster County kills 1

CONOY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — A vehicle crashed into a home on Kissel Barrick Road in Lancaster County on Wednesday, Sept. 29. as of 6:50 p.m., both the vehicle and building were on fire. Emergency response units were at the scene at that time and put the fire out shortly after.

According to the Susquehanna Regional Police, one male who was inside the vehicle is now dead as the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office investigates. Police also say that no one was home at the time of the crash.

The crash is under investigation and the identity of the dead male is still pending. Bainbridge Road will be closed between Risser Mill Road and Meadow View Lane for the time being.
