Woman accused of assaulting school resource officer

A Lancaster woman is accused of assaulting a school resource officer at Wheatland Middle School.

Raquel S. Greene, 31, was arrested for aggravated assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct after an incident Friday afternoon.

Manheim Township police said Greene went to the school to speak with administrators but began to yell and use profane language. When she refused to calm down, the school resource officer ordered Greene to leave the school, which she also refused.

The officer then attempted to take Greene into custody for disorderly conduct. Police said she tried to bite the officer’s hand, and later kicked the officer in the lower leg multiple times.

She was arraigned and placed in Lancaster County Prison on $5,000 bail.
