STEVENS, Pa. (WHTM) - Police are investigating a report that a man tried to force a woman into a wooded area near the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area visitor center.
The 40-year-old woman told police the man approached her around 9:30 a.m. Thursday as she was riding her bicycle along a trail near Museum Road in Clay Township. He asked her if she wanted to "take a walk with him" into the woods. When she refused, she says he pulled a knife and grabbed her by the arm.
She says when she asked him to stop, he left the area. She was not injured.
Northern Lancaster County Regional police are looking for a thin man who's about 5'10" tall and around 50 years old. He may have a tattoo on one or both of his forearms, and he may have been driving a small tan car.
