Work begins on large hole in Tanger Outlets parking lot

Lancaster

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Nine months after a large section of pavement collapsed in the parking lot of a Lancaster County shopping center, work has begun to repair the hole.

Crews were at Tanger Outlets in East Lampeter Township on Wednesday to replace a stormwater management system that collapsed under the parking lot last summer. The work is expected to be completed by July.

Six vehicles were stranded Aug. 10 when a section of the parking lot dropped several feet in some places.
