Cafeteria worker had suspected heroin in school, police say

A woman who worked as a cafeteria worker in a Lebanon elementary school was arrested after she was found in possession of suspected heroin, police said.

Alicia Gooden, 26, of Lebanon, is charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Lebanon School District police officer received a tip that Gooden may be in possession of heroin and met with her Friday at Southeast Elementary School, where she was employed by a food services contractor.

Police said she was found to have suspected heroin and a pain medication in her purse, separate from the food preparation area.

Gooden was arraigned on the charges and placed in Lebanon County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail.
