Three children sustained minor injuries when a small school bus overturned during a crash in Lebanon County.
South Lebanon Township police said a pickup carrying construction equipment ran a stop sign and collided with the bus at the intersection of Metro Drive and Birch Road around 2:15 p.m.
The bus driver’s two preschool-age children and one student were on the bus. The driver’s children were taken to WellSpan Good Samaritan for evaluation and the student was taken to the hospital after complaining of head pain, police said.
The pickup driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of a medical condition not directly involving the crash.
The student was heading to the Manheim Central School District from the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center.
Police said there have been complaints of drivers running the stop sign, and an officer watching for violators witnessed the crash.
Charges are pending.
