West Cornwall man gets up to 10 years for baby's abuse

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) - A Lebanon County man will serve up to 10 years in prison for the abuse of a 9-month-old baby.

Justin Rosencrance, 32, of West Cornwall Township, was ordered to serve 4.5 to 10 years at his sentencing Wednesday.

He was convicted on two felony counts of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor count of simple assault at an April trial.

Rosencrance admitted to police that in December 2016, he threw the infant onto a bean bag type of chair because he was overwhelmed and frustrated.

The baby suffered injuries that included bleeding beneath the skull, retinal hemorrhages, and neck and ear bruising.
