A Lebanon man has died from injuries he sustained from a vehicle crash in the city on Tuesday.
Lee Wright, 35, crashed into a metal utility pole at 12th and Cumberland Streets and died at a hospital on Wednesday, city police said.
Witnesses reported that Wright appeared to be sleeping or unconscious in the driver’s seat while stopped at a traffic light. When a driver pulled next to Wright and asked if he was alright, Wright awoke and stepped on the gas pedal, accelerated through the intersection, and struck the pole, police said.
Wright was alone in the vehicle.
