A naked man was hiding in a wooded area of Lebanon when he asked two young children if they wanted candy, police said.

Charles Acosta, 58, no fixed address, has been charged with unlawful contact with minors, indecent exposure, open lewdness, and corruption of minors regarding an incident late Monday afternoon.

The mother of the children, ages 5 and 8, told police they were walking on the bike path between South Ninth and South 12th streets when she overheard the comment and saw a man with no clothing just off the path.

Police said they found Acosta unclothed in the wooded area. He was taken to the Lebanon County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail.

There was no physical contact between Acosta and the children, police said.
