Teen charged in Palmyra gun shop burglary

A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with a burglary at the Horseshoe Pike Gun Shop in January.

The York-area teen is charged with four counts each of criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit criminal trespass, criminal conspiracy to commit theft, criminal conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property, and criminal conspiracy to commit criminal mischief.

He was admitted to a juvenile detention facility following a hearing at the Lebanon County Courthouse on Tuesday.

Police said three people stole at least 13 guns from the store after throwing a cinder block through a window on the night of Jan. 16.

Fernando Rodriguez, 20, of Lancaster, and Jorge Santiago, 19, of Leola, were arrested shortly after the break-in. Both are awaiting trial for burglary, theft and numerous other charges.
