Emergency dispatchers say two transformer fires knocked out power in several communities in Lebanon County.

Around 8:30 p.m., 20 fire and emergency crews were called to WellSpan Philhaven in Mount Gretna.

Staff and fire officials reported a smell of smoke near one of the buildings on the campus. The staff believes that smell came from one of the transformer fires.

Emergency dispatchers told abc27 News that two Met-Ed transformers caught fire. Those fires are now out, and Met-Ed crews are working to restore power.

At 10:30 p.m. on Met-Ed’s website listed 2,150 customers without power throughout the county.
