A local high schooler did what not many can do. He received a perfect score on his ACT. Aidan Park is a junior at Cumberland Valley High School. He only took the ACT once, thought he did well, but says he never would have guessed he got a 36.
Park is very involved at his school and takes several advanced courses. He hopes to attend either Penn State or the University of Pittsburgh for college.
“Happy, as much as anyone would be, when they get a score like that, but it was for the first couple minutes I was, man oh my god I got a 36, this is insane. After that, I figured it’s a drop in the bucket for everything else I have to be doing,” said Park.
A perfect ACT score is a feat just under two-tenths of one percent of students last year achieved, according to an ACT and SAT prep company.
