The Mega Millions lottery will offer its largest jackpot ever during Tuesday night’s drawing.
The estimated annuity value of the prize has grown to $667 million, surpassing the previous record of $656 million. The estimated cash value is $380 million.
It’s also the third-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.
The jackpot has been growing since a group of 11 co-workers in Santa Clara County, California shared a $543 million prize in the July 24 drawing.
Lottery players get another shot at a big payout Wednesday night when Powerball offers a jackpot of $345 million, or $199 million with the cash payout.
The largest Powerball jackpot was $1.586 billion, shared by winners in California, Florida and Tennessee in January 2016.
