HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) - The Mega Millions jackpot has soared past $400 million for just the seventh time in the game’s 16-year history.
No ticket matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night. The white balls were 40, 41, 61, 66 and 67, and the Mega Ball was 12.
Friday’s jackpot is estimated at $422 million, or $254.8 million cash.
If a lucky player can match all six numbers, it would be the sixth largest Mega Millions prize ever.
Tickets for Mega Millions cost $2 each and are sold until 9:59 p.m. on drawing nights.
Two jackpot-winning Mega Millions tickets have been sold in Pennsylvania since it joined the multi-state game in 2010. The largest was a $91.8 million cash-value prize claimed by a Virginia man in 2015.
