New information, but no identity in York County death investigation

The York County Coroner’s Office has released more information on the body found at a Warrington Township home on Thursday.

Chief Deputy Coroner Claude Stabley was called to a home on Kralltown road, where the body was found.

The coroner’s office says the gender appears to be female, but the identity remains pending.

An autopsy on the body was performed this morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

The cause and manner of death are still pending additional tests.

However, the autopsy did confirm the body is significantly decomposed, but no trauma was noted at this time.

It is still not known if the decedent lived at the address or not.

No other people were living in the home at the time the body was found.

The coroner’s office says additional testing will be conducted with the assistance of the anthropology department at Mercyhurst University in Erie.

That testing is expected to take additional time.
