Penn State Health confirms first coronavirus death

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center has confirmed its first patient death resulting from coronavirus. The hospital says the patient who died Friday, was at high-risk for COVID-19 mortality.

Penn State Health says it is currently treating nine patients positive for coronavirus and three patients under investigation.

Additional information will not be released at this time due to federal privacy laws.
