Plans to turn country club into housing development


Once a country club is soon to be a housing development.

The former Blue Ridge Country Club on Linglestown Road in Lower Paxton Township will soon become Blue Ridge Village. 

The first phase, was just approved earlier this week.

The development will be a mixed-use community with single family homes, townhomes, and apartments. 

“50 percent of the single family homes and town homes have to be age restricted and then 60 percent of them have to have the visibility standards which I talked about wheelchair accessibility, bathrooms are a little larger for handicap devices,” said Mark DiSanto, CEO of Triple Crown Corporation.

32 of the 132 acres of land has been given to the Township, and will be used a s a public park. 

Construction is expected to begin at the end of this year.
