Police seek man wanted for child sexual abuse


NEWPORT, Pa. (WHTM) – State police in Newport and Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers are asking for help to locate a man charged with child sexual abuse.

Scott Kapp, 38, of Shermans Dale, is charged with 24 abuse-related counts, including four counts of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old, and unlawful contact with a minor.

Kapp has ties to Mechanicsburg, Lancaster, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call state police at 717-567-3110 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477). 

Callers could be eligible for a cash reward.
