HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) - - Sunset Drive in Hershey is getting sunnier, although the road is still filled with water, residents have a positive outlook.
The owner of the trailer park says the water comes from nearby developments. Some neighbors decided to evacuate during the week, others rode out to the storm.
Now the cleanup begins, as the road and homes were damaged.
"I'm just so thankful. The neighbors all came out and kind of cried on each others shoulders and boo-hooed a bit but we're going to be okay. So that was really really special, said Eleanor Field, Resident.
The Red Cross was in the neighborhood on Friday, going door to door to see what assistance residents needed.
Volunteers will return to sunset drive over the week, and next week, to help neighbors and mow the grass.
