The Steelton-Highspire Fall Fest is just around the corner.
It’s Saturday from Noon until 4 p.m.
There will be fall-themed games and activities for students.
There will also be a craft fair, food trucks, and lots of vendors in the high school parking lot.
Superintendent Travis Waters says the event is a way to create a better relationship with the community.
“We have certain social issues that we need to address. No matter what those issues are, the school cannot address those issues together so creating that better communication with the community is essential to making sure that we’re having success with our students,” said Waters.
A portion of proceeds will benefit the class of 2019.
