Four boaters stranded in the Susquehanna River were saved by firefighters Sunday morning.
Police said the boaters crossed into dangerous territory just over the Glodsboro Dam around 2 a.m. Sunday. It’s not clear what went wrong with their boat.
Responders said the rescue was difficult because of poor visibility, the boaters didn’t know their exact location, and the conditions on the river were dangerous.
Fire departments from Dauphin, York and Lancaster counties responded.
No one was hurt.
