WAYNESBORO, Pa. (WHTM) — Waynesboro police say one person was taken into custody peacefully after a police incident Tuesday morning.
Police ask residents Tuesday morning on the 200 block of N. Potomac Street to avoid the area due to the ongoing situation. Residents were asked to stay indoors.
Waynesboro Police says they responded to a report of domestic violence incident with an armed subject in the residence, who was later identified as Christopher Repman, 37. Upon arrival, all resident occupants left the building minus Repman who remained alone with the officers.

A perimeter was established and attempts were made to communicate with the armed individual who did not respond. It was not until just before noon that Repman surrendered and was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
Pennsylvania State Police assisted Waynesboro Police during the incident.
