ST. THOMAS, Pa. (WHTM) – The National Weather Service says a tornado touched down in Franklin County during Friday’s severe storm.
A survey team was still working in an area west of St. Thomas on Monday afternoon but confirmed there is tornadic wind damage. The team was still surveying the damage and did not immediately have an EF-rating.
The weather service also confirmed an EF-1 tornado with maximum winds of 100 mph touched down near Knobsville, in neighboring Fulton County. The twister damaged a home and downed trees. No one was injured.
