An 18-year-old man died after a shooting incident in the city Tuesday afternoon.
Police said officers responded to a call of shots fired at 127 East Maple Street and found the victim just after 5 p.m. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
His name was not immediately released.
A second shooting victim was found at the hospital. That person was transported there in a private vehicle.
Police said the incident was not a random act of violence.
The incident came just hours after another man was critically injured in a shooting. Police said that victim was shot in the head at the intersection of Park Street and Park Place around 10:50 a.m.
