YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — Clean up continues Friday and a road has reopened after buildings in York were demolished.
The three buildings in the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue began collapsing and were deemed unsafe. The buildings were torn down Thursday morning.
The city says the three old buildings were collapsing on their own. In an effort to keep neighbors safe, crews decided to remove them.
There were some vintage signs in windows that the city put in safe keeping.
