YORK, Pa. (WHTM) - One day after Bon-Ton went out of business, one Midstate location already has a new tenant.
Community Aid Thrift Shop will be moving into the Queensgate Shopping Center in York Township.
It will hire 80 people for full and part-time positions.
As part of the same announcement, Community Aid will divvy up a million dollars in grants to first responders, churches, and other non-profits.
"If you're a nonprofit and a community aid store opens in your town, you should do everything you can to partner with them because it's like hitting the lottery. They're going to take good care of you," said Eric Saunders, of New Hope Ministries.
The new thrift store is set to open next spring.
