Coroner called to shooting in York


YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – The York County Coroner’s Office has been called to a shooting investigation in York. 

Police were called to the intersection of West Princess Street and South Pershing Avenue around 6:50 p.m. and found a man dead.

A name was not immediately released. 

Our crew on the scene says caution tape was around a parking lot near William Penn High School. 

Police are investigating this as a homicide.
