July 4 shooting in West York under investigation; not a random incident


YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — According to the West York Police Department, there were shots fired into a home in the 1100 block of West Poplar Street on Sunday, July 4.

Inside the home were a woman and a child. No one was hurt in the shooting.

As of now, the police department does not think the shooting was a random incident.
