One of Pennsylvania’s ‘most wanted’ arrested after 3 years on run

York

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a man that police called one of Pennsylvania’s “most wanted” in York County.

Richard B. Tyler, 33, had been on the run since January 2016 after he failed to appear at his trial for illegal possession of drugs and guns.

In February 2018, Springettsbury Township police him with aggravated assault in a stabbing incident.

U.S. Marshal Martin Pane said Tyler initially refused to surrender but turned himself in after a few minutes of negotiation.

Pane said an investigation into people who helped Tyler avoid arrest continues.
