PennDOT to pave nearly 7 miles of I-83

PennDOT has announced plans to repair and pave nearly seven miles of Interstate 83 between the Loganville and Mount Rose Avenue exits in York County.

The $13.6-million project is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, according to a PennDOT news release.

Drivers may encounter single-lane restrictions in either direction through the work zone five or six nights a week from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. as crews mill and repair I-83 in preparation for asphalt paving later this year.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
