Police arrest man sought for defrauding clients, revenge porn

Police have arrested a small business owner accused of stealing from clients.

Brad Eckard, 29, the owner of Eckard Tree Removal, allegedly stole $17,600 from at least 11 people.

Authorities said he took down payments for tree services but never completed the work.

He’s charged in Cumberland and Dauphin counties with theft by deception, forgery, and related offenses.

Police in Fairview Township, York County additionally accuse Eckard of distributing intimate photos of a former girlfriend on social media.

One of the people who allegedly received the photos is a juvenile.

In that case, Eckard is charged with counts including corruption of minors, harassment, and invasion of privacy.
