Coroner releases name of man found dead after York shooting

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A 42-year-old York man was found dead after a shooting in the city early Friday.

York County Coroner Pam Gay said Juan Woodard was found dead outside 116 North Pine Street just before 1 a.m.

Woodard lived in the 100 block of North Pine. Investigators believe he was targeted.

The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy scheduled for Saturday.

Police have not announced any suspects or arrests.
