A Scranton man is accused of sexually assaulting a York County teenager he met online.
Robert A. Kusma, 33, was arrested Monday for the alleged assault at a Jacobus home in July 2016.
Kusma let himself into the house and sexually assaulted the 15-year-old girl in her bedroom. The assault was interrupted when a friend stopped by, and Kusma got into his vehicle and drove away, York Area Regional police said.
Kusma was not identified as the suspect until this month. Investigators said they used a photograph he sent the girl for numerous searches of law enforcement databases, but they did not get a positive identification until now.
Kusma was arrested at his home and returned to York County, where he is charged with indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, and sexual abuse of children.
He was placed in York County Prison after failing to post $25,000 cash bail.
