York manhole explosion caused by underground electrical fire


YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — An underground electrical fire was responsible for a manhole explosion that resulted in several streets being closed, the York City fire chief said.

That fire has been put out, Met-Ed is making repairs, and streets have been reopened. No one was injured from the incident.
