A teacher’s aide in the York school district is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old student.
Jean P. Larue had sexual relations with the girl at his West York home while he was employed at the Ferguson K-8 school, police said in a criminal complaint.
Larue admitted to authorities that he sent the girl inappropriate text messages and spent time alone with her on several occasions. He also admitted to having sex with her twice, according to the complaint.
Larue, 36, is charged with felony counts of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, institutional sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, and corruption of minors.
Larue was arrested Wednesday and placed in York County Prison after failing to post $200,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 19.
A district spokesperson said he has been removed from service.
