A death investigation is underway in Lancaster County after a body was found in the Susquehanna River near the York County line.
Manor Township Police said a fisherman found the body in the water and contacted police around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
This was originally reported to York County emergency dispatchers. Lancaster County crews handle incidents on the water they are handling the case.
The Lancaster County Coroner’s office had not identified the body. An autopsy is pending.
Dispatchers were called to Lower Windsor Township for a water rescue around 8:30 am Sunday.
As of now, the coroner has arrived at the scene.
Long Level Road was closed at Klines Run Road and Calvary Church Road.
