The York County Food Bank is making sure families have a warm meal this holiday season, but it needs your help to stuff a truck.
The food bank is collecting non-perishable items like stuffing and canned veggies.
You can donate items at tonight’s First Friday event in York from 5-9 p.m.
“We help provide food for over 300 people a week and the lines just never go down,” said Debbie Krout, the food bank’s director of programs and operations. “We have people standing in line for three to four hours no matter what the weather is, so, unfortunately, the need is still great.”
People who donate three items will get a coupon for 20-percent off a meal at several York restaurants.
