A York County man has been convicted of first-degree murder and robbery in the slayings of two people at a Fawn Township home.

Paul Henry III, 41, of Manchester, was found guilty after his case went to a jury on Tuesday. He faces a possible death sentence when the jurors begin the penalty phase of his trial on Wednesday.

Prosecutors said Henry and his wife Veronique killed 26-year-old Danielle Taylor and 31-year-old Foday Cheeks during a home invasion at Cheeks’ home in September 2016.

Two other women and two boys, ages 12 and 14, were in the house at the time of the shooting.

At trial, Henry said his wife wanted to buy drugs and went into the home alone.

Veronique Henry died by hanging herself in a York County Prison cell two days after the killings.
