MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Motorcycle ride to raise money for services helping with domestic violence.
More people were helping each other out in a community event, called the Ride for Rock Angel.
It was held Saturday afternoon to help victims of domestic violence.
The 60-mile motorcycle route that went from Mechanicsburg to Carlisle was to show help is out there for people who are in need.
Norm Updegraff, Vice President of the organization, said, “Domestic violence it touches everybody. Everybody knows somebody who has been affected either personally or you know somebody that they met and uh you know it’s something that everyone can relate to.”
Money raised went to domestic violence services of Cumberland and Perry counties.
