DOVER, Pa. (WHTM) – A York man was arrested after causing “general mayhem” while running around naked in Manchester Township.

Northern York County Regional Police said the 24-year-old man jumped from the third floor of the Motel 6 on Arsenal Road around 6:20 p.m. Friday.

Investigators said the man landed on the windshield of a car in the motel parking lot.

Police said he then ran into the Sheetz store on Arsenal Road and caused “general mayhem,” throwing items around the store.

Investigators said the man eventually went into the parking lot and pulled on a woman’s car door until an off-duty officer heard the woman screaming and ordered the man to the ground at gunpoint.

Police said two people helped subdue the man until police arrived.

The man was taken to the hospital for his injuries from the balcony fall.

Police said he will be charged appropriately after the investigation is complete.
